A new photo of Samsung Galaxy's latest phablet, the Samsung S6 Edge Plus, has leaked online as Samsung is set to dominate the phablet world again with the release of the highest end phablet in the market.
As shown by Mobile Fun, the leaked image is a close-up shot of the white and gold Samsung S6 Edge Plus with a model number SM-G928A. This puts an end to the rumored specs and features of the newest Samsung phablet.
The handset's features previously leaked revealing amazing and surprising specs. According to Ecumenical News, Samsung S6 Edge Plus was reportedly larger than Samsung S6 Edge. It measures 154.4 x 75.9 x 6.9 millimeter, which is obviously wider than the first version.
The phablet will reportedly pack a 5.7-inch screen with Super AMOLED 1,600 x 2,560 resolution. Other features include Samsung Exynos 7422 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, 3GB RAM, 16MP rear camera with 4K video capture and 5MP front camera, and 3,220 mAh.
Samsung S6 Edge Plus is expected to come in three variants of 128GB, 64GB and 32GB internal storage. The new phablet will also run with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop same as the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Samsung S6 Edge Plus is expected to be available in the market mid-August. It is the company's tradition to use the IFA event in Berlin to launch every Samsung Galaxy phablet, following the original phablet release since 2011. Recent rumors said that Samsung is changing its plan and strategy to avoid Apple from overshadowing their marketing plan. This is in relation to Apple's very first jumbo-sized iPhone 6 Plus that was also launched in September 2014.
