It has been confirmed that the "Arrow" season 4 release date is on Oct. 7 and recent spoilers revealed that Damien Dahrk (Neal McDonough) and Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum) will be introduced in the upcoming season of the The CW series. [SPOILER ALERT: Read at your own risk.]
As the original rival to Matt Nable's Ra's al Ghul in "Arrow" season 3, Damien Darhk will be introduced as the new villain in "Arrow" season 4. At the recent Comic-con, "Arrow" executive producer and co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim told Access Hollywood that Damien is a different kind of villain than they have had on the The CW show before.
According to Guggenheim, Damien is not as centurion as Ra is, not "as looney tune as Slade, and not "as noble as Malcolm Merlyn." He described the villain character as "pure evil" explaining that they wanted somebody who was "truly, truly malevolent."
"We've never done that on the show before," Guggenheim added. "All of our big bads always thought they were doing, the wrong thing for the right reason. This guy does the wrong thing for the wrong reasons."
Also appearing in "Arrow" season 4 is Mr. Terrific , who is one of DC's superhero community leaders who fights crime through his advanced technology in the comics. Among his more distinctive tools is the nanite T-shaped mask that makes him invisible to all forms of technological detection.
Mr. Terrific will be a Palmer Technology employee working under Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) in "Arrow" season 4, according to Comic Book.
Airing on The CW on Oct. 7, "Arrow" season 4 episode 1 titled "Green Arrow" features Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) going back home not being The Arrow anymore.
