A new set of leaked photos showcasing the third-generation Moto G has again surfaced, this time in Brazil. The new leak shows unboxing photos of the smartphone and has confirmed all previous rumors and speculations about Motorola's upcoming budget device.


The leak was posted by a Brazilian retailer and was pulled out after several tech blog and websites picked it up. The leaked photo shows that the third-generation Moto G has a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz an upgrade from the current model which has a 1.2GHz processor. The device also comes in with an Adreno 306 GPU which is part of the Snapdragon 410 chipset.

According to Engadget, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. It also has a digital TV tuning feature, dual SIM support and a 5-inch screen with 720p resolution protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass. The device is also IPX7 compliant which means it is water resistant.

Based on the leaked photograph, the device will have 16GB of storage space. The exact amount of memory is yet to be disclosed but rumors claim that it might be somewhere between 1GB to 2GB.

According to Softpedia, the upcoming device from Motorola will come in two different variant. One variant is said to have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage space and this is for the lower priced bracket. The more expensive variant will have 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. Additionally, both variants come in with microSD support which can be used to expand the device's storage space to as much as 64GB.

The third generation Moto G also known as Moto G 2015 will run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Motorola event scheduled on July 28.
