According to Screen Rant, Moretz revealed the official plot for "Neighbors 2" via her Twitter account and wrote that the sequel will focus more on female cast members. There are speculations that the film will introduce a new sorority that may potentially cause problems in the neighborhood where Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne reside.
Meanwhile, the official title for the upcoming film will be, "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising." Although nothing has been confirmed yet, the title and the plot teased by Moretz directly relate with one another.
Other than the plot and the official working title of the film, it was also revealed that "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" will be released a week after "Captain America: Civil War." According to Deadline, the original release date for the movie was scheduled for May 13.
As of late, the official cast list for the movie has not yet been disclosed. Director Nicholas Stoller will be back and the film will be co-produced by Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Rogen. The script will be written by Rogen, Stoller, Goldberg, Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O'Brien.

"Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on May 20, 2016.
