"Fifty Shades Darker," the highly anticipated second installment to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" franchise will reportedly feature more explicit scenes between Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. Several scenes were reportedly too intimate that some executives were worried that it may upset the audience.
According to Movie News Guide, "Fifty Shades Darker" will focus on the sexual fetishes of Christian Grey (Dornan). Now that Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) has accepted Christian's lifestyle, a new door of possibilities will open up for the couple.
Viewers will also see Christian's sadistic side. In the E.L. James novel it was revealed that the business tycoon enjoys hurting women that resembles his mother. The publication hinted that some of the scenes may be too explicit especially for the younger audience.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson decided against showing all of the BDSM scenes found in the erotic novel as she aims for an R-rating. If the follow-up film will include raunchier scenes, it may be given an R-18 or even R-21. It has been speculated that the screenwriters are thinking of adding a few more exciting scenes which were not part of the novel.
Meanwhile, it has long been rumored that Charlize Theron and Henry Cavill will be joining the cast of "Fifty Shades Darker." Both actors, however, denied reports saying that they have already accepted the role. Theron was allegedly offered to play the role of Elena Lincoln (Mrs. Robinson) and Cavill as Ana's boss Jack Hyde.
According to Mirror, the "Batman v Superman" star confirmed that he is not in the appearing the movie. The actor added that he was both flattered and surprised by all the attention he has been receiving from all the casting rumors.
