The much awaited “Once Upon A Time” Season 5, all set for a premiere on Sep 27, will feature a new character - “medieval manservant,” more likely in the land Camelot.
In the fourth episode of the upcoming season, there will be a new character entry - a medieval manservant, who will be very much devoted to his employer, though he harbors a deep resentment. His resentment might lead him to do bad things, TV Line reported.
In season 5, fans will be taken in between the love triangle in Camelot, where King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) will be obsessively in love with Queen Guinevere (Joana Metrass). But the Queen will be in love with Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), the most trusted knight of King Arthur in Camelot. The However, love triangle will have the “OUAT” twist, just like the other fairytale characters have.
“As we do on ‘Once Upon a Time,’ we’re doing our own twist on Camelot, on Arthur’s background and on his relationships with Merlin, Guinevere and Lancelot,” Series creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis told Entertainment Weekly.
King Arthur will make his appearance in the premiere episode to be titled “Dark Swan.” Besides King Arthur, another character Merida (Amy Manson), a Scottish princess from Disney/Pixar’s “Brave,” will also make her first appearance. Merida will more likely been seen with anyone in the show as she will become a part of the story as the other fairytale characters with the help of King Arthur, search for Merlin (Elliot Knight), the only one who can save Emma.
As for the medieval manservant character in the “Once Upon A Time” Season 5, there is no other information, other than he will be a devoted servant. The production team is reportedly still in the lookout for the best actor to suit the character.
