"Naked and Afraid" episode 3 showed ongoing trouble in the paradise. Teams made by Luke, Honora, and Chris, as well as, those of Alana, Dani, and Shane were all threatened to fall apart because of their clashing personalities.
The previous episode revealed how Honora played the victim card, which added to the brewing conflict in the group, while Shane confronted Alana about her laziness. Dani, on the other hand, sat and watched, obviouslydid not want to be part of this drama.
Chris, Honora, and Luke were still arguing by day 10 and it picks up from the scene where Luke walks away from Honora after she sabotaged her teammates. Now, Chris and Luke have to endure the remaining days without the use of any tools. Honora will also be seen going into the confessional saying that she tried her best to be nice to her teammates, but they just don't see her as a team player. Honora then decides to tap out and leaves Chris and Luke alone.
Meanwhile, in Roca Diablo, EJ and Jeff become desperate for protein and both agree that food should be their priority. They tried chasing a rodent and attempted to catch some fish, but they were unlucky to find food at both attempts. By some stroke of luck, they came across a turtle and started to rejoice because they know they can gain 5,000 calories from this catch.
The show "40 Days Snake In The Grass" shows its audience the reality of how tempers can easily result to conflict within the group. Honora left and each remaining player feels the burden of being away from their families and civilization for a long time. Watch "Naked and Afraid" and notice how human nature reacts to being in the harsh wilderness.
