"America's Next Top Model" cycle 22, which is set to premiere on The CW on Aug. 5, is partnering with OPPO, the smartphone phone brand to team up with The CW series created by Tyra Banks.
The partnership between "ANTM" and OPPO was celebrated during the "ANTM" cycle 22 premiere party in Los Angeles on July 28, Tuesday. It was attended by Banks and OPPO's Vice President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business Sky Li.
According to Li, the partnership between "ANTM" cycle 22 and the OPPO came together naturally considering that fashion and smartphone design are equally keen on artistic processes.
"The collaboration represents how OPPO is transforming superior technology and unique design to make the fashion industry more dynamic than ever," Malaysian Digest quoted Li as saying. "Together with 'ANTM,' OPPO will continue to deliver a high-tech experience through devices that shatter world records and set new standards for innovation."
The publication has learned that the OPPO N3 and R5 smartphones will be used throughout the "ANTM" cycle 22. One challenge will feature photographer Massimo Campana creating professional-looking headshots by using the Expert Mode.
Released in October 2014, the OPPO N3 offers Schneider Kreuznach certified 16 MP and features O-Click remote control, motorized rotating lens via on-screen gestures, HDR, geo-tagging, face detection and touch focus, among others, according to GSMArena.
