While furor over Ben Affleck's infidelity refuses to die down, Jennifer Garner has been focusing on two things that merit her attention, her kids and her film commitments.
Weeks after the Hollywood A-list couple announced that they were having a divorce, news spread that Affleck has been having an affair with Christine Ouzounian, the 28-year-old nanny of the estranged couple's kids.
Garner has been reportedly incensed with the fling. On the set of her movie "Miracles From Heaven," the ever busy actress seemed calm as she was her usual warm and smiling self, People reported.
Affleck recently visited his family in Atlanta, where Garner was filming. The famous couple may continue living in their property in L.A. property after Garner's film commitment, with their kids' best interests at heart.
Ouzounian, a native of California, began assuming nanny duties to Garner and Affleck's kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel during the high-profile couple's trial separation period. Even when the nanny was no longer in the employ of Affleck and Garner, the "Batman v. Superman" and "Gone Girl" actor remained in touch with her, Us Weekly reported. To this day, Affleck denies the alleged romantic relationship with the former nanny.
It is not the first time Garner has not been spared the drama accompanying a divorce announcement. When the "Elektra" star separated from "Scandal" actor Scott Foley in March 2003, she also encountered the frenzy created by media over a Hollywood celebrity split.
The 43-year-old old actress and Affleck have tried to make the transition for their kids as smooth as possible by spending time with them whenever possible. However, navigating post-separation life under the Hollywood glare has not been without the contentious issues.
