The "Ghostbusters" reboot cast took time off from filming to cheer up young patients at the Tufts Medical Center in Boston, where the upcoming remake of the beloved 80s classic is currently being filmed.
"Ghostbuster" reboot stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon were dressed in full "Ghostbuster" regalia when they dropped in at the center for a meet and greet with patients, according to the Mirror.
The staff at the medical center quickly took pictures of the stars and uploaded them on to their social media accounts. Many followers of the center's Facebook page commented on the photos and commended the stars for their voluntary act of kindness. Comments suggested that others should follow the lead of the stars in such charitable acts.
Meanwhile, the Boston Herald, which previously reported about the film's production details, cited "script spies" as being responsible for providing the paper with inside details about the remake.
According to the publication, the storyline for the film will evolve around characters played by Wiig and McCarthy who according to the plot, write a book on super natural sightings in the area.
As the script goes, the book which hardly attracts attention is laughed at when Wiig's character lands a job at Columbia University at which point in the storyline the film's female cast come together to embark on an adventure of ghost hunting.
Actor Chris Hemsworth is to play the role of the team's receptionist in the new "Ghostbusters" movie. His character Kevin is the male version of Janine Melnitz in the old "Ghostbuster" film which was played earlier by Annie Potts.
Filming is expected to carry on through the summer while Sony plans to release the movie on July 22, 2016.
