Tom Cruise recently visited South Korea to promote his Hollywood movie "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation." Koreans, including Korean-American host and Girls Generation member Tiffany Hwang, professionally known as Tiffany, welcomed him with giggles.
Cruise appeared on the popular Korean TV program "Weekly Entertainment" where he was interviewed by Tiffany. The show started with Cruise captured arriving at the airport and being welcomed by loud cheers from young female fans.
The Hollywood actor, fondly called by Koreans "Mr. Friendly Tom" or the ultimate gentleman, uttered some Korean words such as "sarangahae" which means I love you, AllKpop reported.
Tiffany requested Cruise to promote his movie. The American simply replied with "This is 'Mission Impossible'. This is mission and this is impossible," causing the audience to roar in laughter.
Cruise also talked about his past movies and the things that he did in preparation for them such as doing 50 push-ups a day. He shared that he had fun doing the jumping from the roof scene in "Mission Impossible 3."
Cruise thanked the Koreans for their hospitality and warm smiles. He hinted that the movie will have a lot of funny and action scenes, Daily Mail reported.
