Google Nexus 2015 release is purported to happen in September at the IFA event in Berlin and there is a conflict on the rumored price of the two smartphones under Nexus.
While most consumers are more concerned about the specs and features of the handset, price is a crucial aspect of a device that determines whether the device will succeed or not. Previous Nexus smartphones received high praise from consumers due to its high end features yet affordable price. However, some people think that the Nexus 6 steep price is the main reason why Nexus lost some of its pull. Thus, reports claimed that Google will reboot its price back to LG Nexus 5 price range this year.
According to insiders, Google is working on two smartphones codenamed Angler and Bullhead made by Huawei and LG, respectively. The tech giant reportedly plans to unveil two new smartphones that will cater to both high-end and mid-range market, while other sources claimed that Google will finally enter the phablet market with one of its devices, according to Android Police.
Geek Snack reported that the LG-made Nexus 2015 will be priced around $450, which is slightly higher than $349 and $399 price of 32GB and 64GB models of LG Nexus 5, but considering its rumored features, consumers and manufacturers will be able to meet halfway. Meanwhile, the Huawei version of the smartphone will reportedly retain the Nexus 6 pricing, which is somewhere $650.
According to rumors, Google Nexus 2015 will boast over 5 inch screen display, Snapdragon 808 or 820, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP back camera, and 3,500 mAh battery. The handsets will surely run with Android M operating system.
However, Google has not confirmed the release and details of the upcoming smartphone yet.
