The former astronaut who is now 85 years old posted his "travel voucher" from his lunar trip on Twitter that reveals that Aldrin collected US $33.31 during a journey from Houston, Texas to the moon launch and back to Earth.

The voucher also states government meals and quarters that were furnished during all above dates.
Another tweet from Aldrin also revealed how all the astronauts involved in the Apollo 11 mission were required to accomplish and sign a customs form upon returning to Earth from the moon.
When the lunar mission crew arrived in Honolulu, Hawaii in July 24, 1969, Aldrin along with Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins have declared that they indeed brought along with them moon rock and moon dust samples.
The form also states that none of the astronauts experienced any sort of illness apart from air sickness or accident effects. It also adds that it was "to be determined" if they indeed contracted diseases during the lunar mission.
In another tweet, Aldrin also posted a photo of the Apollo 11 crew in biological isolation suits where they have worn to prevent moon dust from contaminating humans on Earth. Aldrin also says that the rags that they used to wipe off moon dust were also dropped into the ocean where he jokingly said, the poor underwater creatures caught our moon germs instead.
