“Divergent: Allegiant” star Theo James is not letting fame get to his head. He shared that he is still the same person that he was before he played Tobias “Four” Eaton opposite Shailene Woodley’s Tris Prior in the franchise.
In an interview with London Evening Standard, James said that fans often forget that acting is only a job to celebrities. Before landing the lead role in "Divergent," James has only done a few guest appearances on films and TV series. He admitted that he was relatively unknown before the movie adaptation of the Veronica Roth bestseller.
In spite of having a huge fan base, James insisted that he is still the same person. He pointed out that he would not even go to the popular Hollywood parties because that is not his thing. He added that he would rather stay at home and spend time with his family.
It has long been rumored that James is planning to settle down with his girlfriend Ruth Kearney. According to Mass Media, the couple was previously spotted shopping for wedding rings together. The insider revealed that it was not surprising if James propose to Kearney soon, given that he is "madly in love" with her. James' representatives refused to comment on the rumors.
On the other hand, some insiders claim that James is only trying to divert the media's attention to his relationship with Kearney. It was said that he and Woodley are having an affair behind their partners' back. After doing several intimate scenes for "Divergent: Allegiant," sources claim that the co-stars developed feelings for each other.
