It has been confirmed that the "South Park" season 19 premiere date is on Sept. 16. But more than a month before the Comedy Central adult animated series returns, "South Park" creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone will be featured as readers in an audiobook with Matthew McConaughey.
The audiobook is of the short-story collection by Kevin Morris titled "White Man's Problems," which was published in 2014.
"White Man's Problems" has nine stories about Morris' hilarious commentary on his privileged class as an entertainment lawyer by trade. The audiobook will be released on Aug. 11, Time has learned.
Joining Parker, Stone and McConaughey as the "White Man's Problems" audiobook readers are "About a Boy" actress Minnie Driver and "Colony" actor Josh Holloway.
Meanwhile, McConaughey is set to play a modern-day prospector and hustler named Kenny Wells in the upcoming film "Gold," which will start filming in Albuquerque, Albuquerque Journal has learned.
"Gold" conducted a casting call at Bear Canyon Senior Center in Albuquerque on Aug. 1, KOB4 previously reported. With mullets and 1980s looks encouraged, men, women, and children were sought to work as paid background actors.
Before "Gold," McConaughey starred in Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar" opposite Jessica Chastain and Anne Hathaway and in Gus Van Sant's "The Sea of Trees" opposite Ken Watanabe and Naomi Watts.
In addition, McConaughey is also currently lending his voice to a character named Buster in an untitled animated film directed by Garth Jennings. Also featuring the voices of Jon Robert Hall and John C. Reilly, the film is set to be released on Dec. 21, 2016.
