With millions of children obsessing over, Anna, Elsa, Olaf and everything "Frozen", Disney has confirmed that "Frozen 2" is officially happening. After generating nearly $1.3 billion at the box office, the film's directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are set to work on the project with producer Peter Del Vecho for Walt Disney Animation Studios.
Chief creative officer of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter together with the man behind the voice of Olaf, Josh Gad, and Disney chief Bob Iger made the announcement of the sequel. Stars Kristen Bell , Jonathan Groff, Idina Menzel are also back on board, reprising their blockbuster characters Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Elsa, respectively.
The animated "Frozen 2" film directors are said to already have the ending in place, but still working on the start of the story, Screen Crush reported. Disney has kept its silence about the sequel. While various plot details have been spreading, it is extremely hard to tell if there is truth to these rumors. "Frozen 2," according to previous reports, will feature the love story of Kristoff and Anna, with a possibility of a magical wedding.
There are also speculations that the Ice Queen of Arendelle will finally find her love interest. It is rumored that Elsa will fall in love will Olaf when he enchantingly transforms into a handsome human match for the Ice Queen.
An equally powerful villain with fire powers is also allegedly joining the movie, Movie Pilot revealed.
"Frozen 2" is expected to hit the big screen on Nov. 21, 2018.
