There is a strong rumor that Apple is planning to release three iPhones next year, including the iPhone 6C.
These three iPhones are rumored to be released early next year, according to BGR.
It is also rumored that one of the phones will be just 4 inches, in order to appeal to those people who like small and functional devices, Digital Times reported.
It is rumored that this device will be called iPhone 6C and will come fitted with Fin FET chip set, which is a combined product of TSMC and Samsung. This device is expected to release in the end, which is after the first two iPhones hit the market.
The above mentioned chip set will also be used in iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. Earlier, it was reported that Apple is planning to use the 20 nm chip sets. However, since they will consume more space, so Apple deviated towards the Fin FET chip sets.
These chips are 14 times smaller but can still perform like the 20 nm chips without compromising on the quality and the reliability. In addition, these small chips consume less power, making the phone more efficient. This will hence be one of unique selling points of these three iPhone handsets.
On the other hand, these iPhones were expected to release in coming months. However, the rumor states that due to the immense popularity of iPhone 6, which is still selling like hot cakes, Apple decided to postpone the release of new iPhones till 2016.
