"The Big Bang Theory" star Mayim Bialik, recently launched a lifestyle website called GrokNation.
According to People, Bialik's lifestyle site is intended for everyone to get into conversations about contemporary issues. Bialik is also currently hosting other blog sites, such as a parenting blog and Kveller.
During its launch, Bialik said that GrokNation will serve as a place where she would pour out her thoughts and opinions about certain issues. The actress added that eventually, she wants the lifestyle website to become a place for everyone to do the same.
Meanwhile, Bialik, who plays the role of Amy on "The Big Bang Theory" explained why she named the website as such. According to her, Grok is an old-school sci-fi term that means to fully grasp something in a deep way.
In other news, Bialik also talked about the upcoming ninth season of "The Big Bang Theory" on her Kveller blog. The actress revealed that the premiere episode for season 9 will kick off just a few hours where season 8 left off.
Bialik added that all of the issues surrounding Amy and Sheldon's engagement and Penny and Leonard's wedding will be addressed in the premier episode. Additionally, Bialik urged fans to watch "The Big Bang Theory" because the first episode will be filled with a lot of funny scenes starring the cast member. Kevin Sussman, who plays the role of Stuart will also be back to make audiences laugh.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere on CBC on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
