The premiere episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 promises to provide information about Amy and Sheldon and Penny and Leonard's respective relationships.
Just recently, the official synopsis for the first episode of the season was released by CBS. It mentioned that Sheldon will try to solve the mystery surrounding Amy's sudden decision to end their relationship. Knowing Sheldon, the character will wonder how come Amy needed space and just how much space she needs exactly.
Meanwhile, "The Big Bang Theory" showrunner Steve Molaro also talked about the upcoming season. According to him, the answer to the question about Amy and Sheldon's engagement will be revealed in the premiere episode.
In other news, Molaro previously spoke with The Hollywood Reporter and hinted on the possibility of Amy finding a new love interest in season 9. According to him, there is a possibility for Amy to be interested in another guy, however, knowing how much she is fond of Sheldon, the couple would most likely get back together.
Meanwhile, Mayim Bialik, who plays the role of Amy, recently addressed speculations about season 1 on her Kveller blog. According to the actress, episode 1 will be very funny especially since it will feature actor Kevin Sussman, who plays the role of Stuart.
Other than Amy and Sheldon, the premiere episode will also uncover the mystery as to whether or not Penny and Leonard really sealed the deal and got married in Las Vegas.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 will premiere on CBS on Sept. 21.
