Superstar Beyoncé has made history in the fashion world by becoming the first black female musician to appear on the cover of Vogue's most prestigious and much-awaited September issue, which is widely regarded as the most important issue of the year and the fans are always anxious to know who has been selected to grace its cover.
This year, the cover was kept under wraps until it was leaked on Twitter when a user posted the "first look" of Vogue's 2015 September issue. The fans were elated to find Queen Bey on its cover after which Vogue officially released the preview of the issue.
"Just B: Beyonce And The Art Of Global Domination," reads the caption on the cover which shows the 33-year-old singer oozing sexuality in a sheer pink gown with flower embellishments and wet tousled hair. The shot is taken by the famous fashion photographer, Mario Testino, while her couture for the coveted cover of the issue is designed by Marc Jacobs.
Inside the magazine, the singer can be seen in an open-weave black dress, the dainty spider web-style fabric allowing her smooth skin to be fully seen. In another shot, the singer is wearing an off-shoulder black structured dress with an asymmetric hem, allowing a sultry flash of her toned legs. The magazine will cover the power of the singer and her cultural impact on the present generation.
With the recent issue, Jacobs has also become the first designer whose work has been featured on two Vogue covers in a row. Nicole Kidman also wore a sequined dress from the label's fall 2015 collection on the glossy's last issue.
This is Queen Bey' third Vogue cover. She first featured in the magazine's "shape" issue back in 2009, after which the cover was slammed as racist and sexist, Mirror reported. Later she again appeared in the March 2013 issue in which she talked about her daughter Blue Ivy for the first time.
