The "Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon" may still be a month away, but there are still other "Pokemon" titles that can be played to make the wait bearable. One of these is "Pokemon Shuffle," which has just gotten a few new events to keep fans hooked.
The game has recently received new main levels as part of the promise that more things will be coming to "Pokemon Shuffle," trusted Pokemon source Serebii reported. There are no specific details as to what the new main levels will be, though there is one that was related to the Pokemon Goomy.
Another event is also set to begin, which will be known as the Escalation Battle. This will reportedly have the Mythical Pokemon Darkrai. This is in addition to the new event stage that will run until Aug. 21.
The event is a way for players to get the Legendary Pokemon Kyogre. Known as the Kyogre's Special Stage, this will pit players against Kyogre's barrier disruptions. Long-time players will know that this is a repeat run, as it first occurred last July.
In the meantime, the Mega Garchomp event is still ongoing as the last day of the competitive stage for the Mega Garchomp will last until 5:00 UTC on Aug. 17. For the last full day, "Pokemon Shuffle" players can easily pay as many times as possible in the competitive stage, though they would require the Heart to participate, the developer announced via the official "Pokemon Shuffle" website.
Players should also be on the lookout for the results of the competitive stage, set to be released an hour after the final chance to play on Aug. 17. Only the top 18,000 placers will get to win the Garchompite, which is the Mega Stone that will Mega Evolve the Garchomp.
Those who are higher up in the top 5,000 will get an additional Mega Speedup. However, those who do not make the cut for the top placers, meaning those who are between 18,001 and 26,000 will still get the two Attack Power items, while those who place below the range will get a Jewel.
There is a good reason to gain the Garchompite and Mega Evolve the Mega Garchomp. In "Pokemon Shuffle," the Mega Effect will clear out the Pokemon in a diagonal manner for up to three rows. In addition, the Mega Garchomp can is helpful in getting more combos in plays, as it erases a big part of the puzzle area.
