Maisie Williams, who is popularly known as Arya Stark of the hit HBO series, "Game Of Thrones," was spotted neck deep in the freezing cold water in Carnlough, Northern Ireland on Aug. 17, Monday. She was filming an intense scene for the show's upcoming season for which she had to manage to stay afloat in the chilling water for several hours.
The 18-year-old actress was photographed in the complete costume of Arya as she plunged in the water while the curious onlookers watched by. A scuba diver was also seen near the teenager who was surrounded by a slew of cameras as she proceeded to film while up to her neck in the grim water of the harbor, Daily Mail reported.
During the filming, the actress appeared to be screaming, wailing off into the distance while contorting her face into a pained expression in contrast to the huge grin which she flashed in-between the takes.
The recent spotting of Williams has failed to provide any sneak peek into the fate of Arya in the season 6. The season 5 was pretty gruesome for the stalwart as she was rendered blind as a punishment after killing Ser Meryn Trant, and also for taking a face from the House of Black and White.
Although the book, on which the show is based upon, mentions that Arya's blindness is temporary and is just a training tool, the fans of the show are eager to know how the teenager will survive in the season 6.
Meanwhile, the young teenager, who has recently filmed her first sex scene for the U.K. Indie film, "The Falling," has opened up with Vulture to declare that she found shooting such a scene very awkward and made sure to spend some time with her co-actor to know him better to get along well.
