The first live photograph of the highly anticipated LG Nexus 5 2015 finally surfaces on the Internet courtesy of a post from Google+. The smartphone, codenamed Bullhead, has been the subject of several rumors and speculations since the start of 2015.
The image shows the back side of the alleged Nexus 5 smartphone with a protruding camera and a circular fingerprint scanner just beneath it. At the bottom part of the phone is a white sticker that bears the logo of LG, an indication that further solidifies that it is indeed the Bullhead Nexus smartphone. The image also shows that the smartphone has a NOT FOR SALE mark, this sparked allegations that the photographed image might be a test model.
Prior to the recent leak, renders of the LG Nexus 5 2015 were picked up by several tech websites. The renders were believed to be schematics that were sent to third-part companies tasked to build accessories and other peripherals for the smartphone, according to Android Central.
Official specs of the flagship smartphone from Google has yet to be revealed but this did not deter tech analysts to speculate what the company has in store. Based on previous leaks, Google is planning to release two variants of the Nexus smartphone. One is from LG and will sport a 5.2-inch display screen and a larger 5.7-inch model from Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei, according to Android Police.
Not much were revealed aside from leaked photo of the smartphone's chassis which shows that it will support USB-Type C and stereo speakers embedded on the front side of the device.
The LG Nexus 5 2015 is expected to be released is expected to be released in the latter part of October or early November. On the other hand, the Nexus 5 2015 from Huawei is expected to be released sometime in December.
