Norwich City FC (1-0-0, 3 points) hosts Stoke City FC (0-1-1, 1 point) at the Carrow Road in Norwich for an English Premier League week 3 match on Saturday, August 22.

The Canaries won their previous game versus Sunderland AFC, 3-1, at the Black Cats' Stadium of Light on August 15, exposing the failing defense of Dick Advocaat's squad.

Defenders Russell Martin and Steve Whittaker scored two goals in the first half while midfielder Nathan Redmond added a third one before Sunderland's substitute forward Duncan Watmore put the Cats on the board at the 88th-minute to arrive at the final score, as per Chronicle Live.

Stoke City settled for a 2-2 draw with Tottenham Hotspur also last Saturday at the White Hart Lane as they still failed to clinch their first win of the season, via BBC Sport.

Forwards Marko Arnautovic and Mame Biram Diouf provided the goals that tied it for the Potters while Spurs midfielders Eric Dier and Nacer Chadli scored the first two in the first half of the match.

The two teams last meeting was back in March 2014, resulting in a 1-1 draw also at the Carrow Road.

Prediction: This time a 2-1 win by the Potters over the Canaries. Mark Hughes is eager to gain his first victory this season and battling the Yellows would be the perfect time to achieve that.
