Apple has claimed 39 new technology patents and have now been accepted, giving them rights over new technologies the conglomerate has established.
Apple's patent claims for Haptic Identification and 38 others have been approved by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Aug. 18, Tuesday.
The tech giant has claimed proprietorship on technology designs running their new Haptic or Touch ID and their Gesture Command structure.
Touch ID, the haptic dependent security system, has been approved as patent 9, 111, 125 and was submitted in 2013. The patent encompasses their fingerprint identifying technologies that operate the safety features present in the new iProducts, giving users the option of securing their data and electronic devices using biometrics, according PatentlyApple.
The technology also includes a function that analyzes the fingerprint image quality, identification and verification modules.
Another technology that Apple has gained rights to is their Gesture Command, with number 9, 110, 510. The patent shelters the technologies responsible for the capturing and spotting the gestures being used in their devices, ranging from simple swipe and complex strokes. Autographs can also be recognized by the system and be used as a method of locking the devices, instead of passwords or PINs.
The tech was attributed to Xiaoyuan Tu, William Vieta, as well as Christopher Moore, as the engineers and was registered in section Q in 2013, according to the Patent Office's site.
Other innovations that are now owned by Apple include, light correction modules, proximity fence, and map rendering, magnetic connector design and multiple connector assembly.
Alongside this they have also been awarded rights to their audio and music systems, spark gaps for speedy cable connectors, and their technology for camera correction, concealed sensors, and displays having bent inactive regions.
