Wiz Khalifa appears to have been arrested by police at Los Angeles International Airport on Aug. 22, Saturday, according to a series of updates on Instagram and Twitter from the "Furious 7" soundtrack "See You Again" rapper himself claiming it was all because he refused to get off his personal hoverboard.
"3 cops yell stop resisting. Only thing to do is let em know. I'm not resisting, I'm doin what I want," Khalifa captioned an Instagram video clip. In the video dated Aug. 22, cops can be seen holding Khalifa on the ground while the rapper can be heard saying "I'm not resisting, Sir."
On the same day, Khalifa also tweeted along a video clip, "All because I didn't want to ditch the technogy everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids."
It was followed by several tweets, one of which reads, "Haven't been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun."
Meanwhile, Khalifa's "See You Again" featuring Charlie Puth is currently at number 11 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart with "Cheerleader" by OMI at number one followed by "Can't Feel My Face" by The Weeknd and "Watch Me" by Silento at number two and number three, respectively.
As a tribute to the late Paul Walker, "See You Again" was commissioned for "Furious 7" soundtrack. Khalifa and Puth co-wrote the song with Andrew Cedar and DJ Frank E.
On Aug. 19, Michelle Rodriguez told ETonline that her late co-actor's daughter Meadow Walker has been "pretty incognito ever since everything happened."
Rodriguez added that she and her "Furious 7" co-stars "just try to be supportive and let her know" that they are "here if she ever wants it."
