Mobile manufacturer Motorola announced the Moto X Play alongside the Moto G 2015 and Moto X Style in July. It was initially announced as not coming to the United States region. However, according to latest reports, Moto X Play is coming to the U.S. ultimately.
Moto X Play will show up on Verizon Wireless later in 2015 as the Droid Maxx 2 and it will cost around $300.
However, it is possible that the hardware specifications may change.
The Moto X Play sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 5.5-inch full HD screen, a 3,650mAh battery, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip, and 16GB and 32GB internal storage options.
Furthermore, the mobile carrier Verizon is getting ready to release the Motorola DROID Turbo 2. According to PhoneDog, Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will be based on the Moto X Style. In the US, the Moto X Style is being sold as the Moto X Pure Edition through Motorola's website.
The Droid Turbo 2 will offer feature described to be an unbreakable screen. It will have a 21-megapixel camera, 3 GB RAM and a 5.7-inch Quad HD display running on a Snapdragon 808 processor. The device will be powered by 3,000mAH battery, Android Headlines reported.
Various reports suggest that Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will feature a POLED display. Many handsets use the traditional OLED displays; however a POLED screen means that the smartphone will carry thinner displays and smaller bezels.
The original DROID Turbo was priced at $600 off-contract. You can expect a similar price for the DROID Turbo 2.
