The radical Islamic preacher Hamza Andreas Tzortzis was allegedly included in the long list of leaked users of the infidelity website Ashley Madison. The well-known Islamic preacher has denied that that the account discovered belonged to him.
According to Yahoo News, the preacher also denied that he signed up for an account on Ashley Madison. He added that the inclusion of his name on the long list of users is just a black propaganda launched by hackers in order to defame his good name.
Tzortzis clarified the allegations that he is an Ashley Madison user via a Facebook post that reads, "This is an obvious case of fraud. My email address (this website doesn't verify emails, and all the relevant emails went to junk) can be found online and so can my address, as it is linked to my business account, which is registered online."
Tzortzis is a member of the Islamic Education and Research Academy. He is known for his debates against the well-known atheist Richard Dawkins. He became controversial when he voiced out his support for the Islamic Caliphate. He also stated that Muslims who leave the Islamic faith "should be killed."
The Ashley Madison data leak saw at least 30 gigabytes worth of data leaked all over the Internet. The leak first surfaced over the dark web which can only accessed by using a specialized web browser called TOR browser. The leak quickly spread through mainstream Internet when it was picked up by several news agencies.
The leak includes sensitive user information like user name, passwords and email addresses. The massive amount of data amount also contains sordid images shared by users as well as their in-depth sexual fantasies, according to Metro.
