A new set of images believed to be that of the Sony Xperia Z5 has hit the Internet. Initial speculations claim that the Z5 will support 4K resolution but the new leak reveal that it might support super high-definition display.
According to Techno Buffalo, it picked up a leak from Chinese website Digi-Wo which claims that Sony is pushing the boundaries of smartphones that will support 4K X-Reality. While many tech analyst are still not convinced about the advantage of resolutions more than 4K, some in the tech community agree that it is useful when it comes to virtual reality devices like Google Cardboard or Gear VR.
Earlier leaks about the Sony Xperia Z5 claim that the smartphone will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with a fingerprint scanner.
Sony announced that it will hold an event in the upcoming 2015 IFA Conference in Berlin. Sony is scheduled to have its presentation on Sept. 2. Many speculations claim that the IFA conference is the perfect stage for Sony unveil its flagship smartphone.
According to GSM Arena, Sony might unveil the Xperia Z5 and the Z5 Compact in the upcoming IFA Conference in Berlin.
Not much is reveal about the Xperia Z5. Some tech websites claim that the flagship smartphone from Sony will sport a 20-megapixel rear facing main camera as well as an 8-megapixel front facing secondary camera. Rumors also claim that the smartphone will have 3GB of internal memory and storage models will start at 32GB.
Despite being flagged for overheating issues, the Snapdragon 810 from Qualcomm is rumored to be at the heart of the Sony Xperia Z5.
