"Teen Wolf" Season 5 wrapped up the first half of the instalment with an explosive midseason finale segment "Status Asthmaticus" on Aug. 24, 2015. The show saw a shocking death, revelation of Parrish's identity and Theo's actual plan against Scott's Pack. Meanwhile, fans are already growing eager to find out what happens when "Teen Wolf" Season 5B returns. Read on to find out the details.
Speaking to TV Line, executive producer Jeff Davis revealed what to expect from "Teen Wolf" Season 5B. The showmaker said that the second half of the season is "clash of titans" as Scott's pack and Theo's pack return to fight each other.
"Yeah, they're definitely going to be going up against each other. It's partially about the other dangers in Beacon Hills. It'll be an epic, cataclymic, clash of the Titans that's about to happen, and they'll be caught up in it," Davis said.
Fans can expect to see a "different" and "wiser" Scott in "Teen Wolf" Season 5B. The near-death experience is reportedly going to change Scott.
"He's going to come back a different person. A lot of this season was about Scott failing as a leader, and how he's learned from those failures. We're going to see an older, wiser Scott in the second half of Season 5," Davis explained.
Meanwhile, fans want to know what happens in Episode 11. According to the producer, the midseason premiere segment of "Teen Wolf" Season 5B will focus on Sheriff Stilinski. Scott and Stiles will be seen making "desperate attempts to save" Sheriff's life. As the show moves forward, Malia reportedly takes the centre stage.
"I can say that Episode 514, which we're breaking now, is a big Malia episode. She's a big part of 511, then 12 and 13 are a step back for her to let things simmer, and then 14 is all about Malia."
Additionally, Kira, who has been missing for the last few episodes of "Teen Wolf" Season 5, will return in Episode 12 of the show. And Hayden will be seen exploring her new powers.
Fans know that MTV's "Teen Wolf" will remain off air for few months before it resumes the run. Several media outlets are speculating that the show will air its Season 5B early in 2016. According to Cartermatt, the midseason premiere is most likely to take place in January, like Season 3 that was the divided into two halves. Entertainment publication Bustle speculates that MTV could follow the same schedule for Season 5 as well.
It should be noted that the network is yet to make an official announcement for "Teen Wolf" Season 5B airdate. This is mere speculation. Nevertheless, filming for "Teen Wolf" Season 5B has already begun. Hypable notes that the network released a photo to announce the beginning of filming of the second half of the Season 5. The picture shows actor Dylan O'Brien, who plays Stiles, and Director Tim Andrew standing in the elevator at the hospital.
