Lifetime's "Devious Maids," which is known for its murder mystery plots and is popular for its cliffhanger season endings, aired an action-packed finale episode on Aug. 24. The episode entitled "Anatomy Of A Murder" showed how the maids put their lives at risk to unmask the killer of Louie Becker and Blanca who turns out to be Carmen's fiancé, Sebastien.
The episode featured Carmen (Roselyn Sanchez), Sebastien (Gilles Marini), Adrian (Tom Irwin), Taylor (Brianna Brown), Michael (Brett Cullen), Marisol (Ana Ortiz), Zoila (Judy Reyes), Genevieve (Susan Lucci) and Spence (Grant Show).
The episode begins with Carmen being tired of the relationship issues and set out to settle things with Sebastien, with whom she is about to get married. Sebastien is running short of cash as he is unable to crack the deal of Adrian's home who is in turn has recently realized that his wife will divorce him if she gets the half of the profit.
Carmen decided to snoop around a little when she came across Blanca's dress. Further investigation reveals the Sebastien is not only the mysterious killer; he is also Taylor's secret lover.
Meanwhile, Taylor calls up the cops and accuses Michael for being a serial killer as she wanted him out of the way as he was stopping her from seeing her daughter. Meanwhile, Sebastien takes Carmen hostage and goes to Adrian's home to seek money where he comes across Marisol and takes her hostage as well.
Adrian calls up newly released Michael, who turns up at his home with a bag full of cash, but refuses to leave as he suspects something fishy. Sebastian kills Michael and sets off the gas in the house. Marisol somehow overcomes Sebastian and maids escape the house just in time. Adrian, who was also escaping turns back to grab the pic of him with Evelyn and their son, has gone missing when the house burst into an explosion.
Zoila and Genevieve have sorted out their differences when the former goes into a complicated labor. Genevieve is faced with a decision to choose between Zoila and the baby. Rosie finds Spence, who has suffered with a memory loss and believes that he is still married to his first wife.
Season 3 has ended but has left the fans puzzling over the fate of Adrian, Spence and Zoila and her baby.
