The Cleveland Browns are set to visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, August 9 for a Week 3 NFL 2015 Preseason match.
Cleveland is 0-2 this current preseason, losing to the Washington Redskins in the first week, 20-17, then dropping a close 11-10 low-scoring affair with the Buffalo Bills the following week.
Second-string quarterback Johnny Manziel had shown a lot in those two games, which gave head coach Mike Pettine something to ponder on before choosing his starter this coming season.
Expected starter Josh McCown has been struggling as of late, as per Bleacher Report, and there were speculations that he could really lose the starting job to Manziel.
The Bucs are 1-1 so far after losing their preseason opener to the Vikings, 26-16, then overpowering the Cincinnati Bengals last week, 25-11.
Potential starting quarterback Jameis Winston is playing well and the victory at home against the Bengals boosted his confidence even more, via ESPN.
With their preseason checklist already completed, Bucs coach Lovie Smith may give his starters more time to rest in this game even at the expense of losing.
Prediction: Browns win, 14-10
