The Tennessee Titans face the Kansas City Chiefs at their home field of Arrowhead Stadium as Week 3 of the 2015 NFL Preseason games begins on Friday, August 28.
Tennessee blasted the St. Louis Rams in their Week 2 game on Sunday at the LP Field in Nashville, 27-14, as former starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger seems to be proving he should still be the man for the job over rookie Marcus Mariota.
Mariota, on the other hand, continued to struggle in his first two NFL games, as per Bleacher Report. Aside from having a defective communicator device in his helmet, he was mostly adjusting to the pace and physicality of the professional game.
The Chiefs are 2-0 this preseason following their low-scoring, by-the-skin-of-the-teeth 14-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks on August 21 also at home.
Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid fielded in a "makeshift group" as a lot of his offensive line players are out with injuries, as reported by CBS Sports. Still, starting QB Alex Smith was able to put things in proper order to escape with the win.
However, it may be a different against Tennessee as Mariota slowly adapts to the big league.
Prediction: Titans win, 17-14
