Perennial contender Liverpool FC will try to preserve its unbeaten run in the 2015-2016 Premier League season as it takes on West Ham United FC in week 4 competitions.
The Reds opened their season with a decent 1-0 win against Stoke City on August 9. It was followed by another 1-0 victory over newly-promoted team Bournemouth then a goalless draw with fellow contender Arsenal FC on Tuesday.
Christian Benteke's arrival last July from Aston Villa helped keep the strength of Brendan Rodgers' offense after his star midfielder Raheem Sterling transferred to Manchester City also this summer.
Meanwhile, West Ham pulled off a shocking 2-0 victory against the Gunners in their opening game. But since then, new manager Slaven Bilić's boys were defeated by Leicester City and Bournemouth as their defense declined in effectiveness each passing game.
It looks like the Irons are going to have a hard time containing Benteke and Liverpool's two other scorers Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino with the kind of defense they are showing lately, especially when they are at the Reds home stadium in Anfield.
Liverpool had beaten West Ham in 11 out of their last 13 head-to-head matches, and it sure looks like the odds will again be on their favor this time.
