"Suicide Squad" actress Margot Robbie has revealed that she got used to see her co-star Jared Leto with his make-up.
Robbie is playing Harley Quinn while Leto is playing The Joker in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad." In her interview with New York Daily News, Robbie said that seeing The Joker up close was threatening at first; however, the actress added that she got used to her co-star's look as the Crown Prince of Gotham. She also mentioned that seeing Leto out of make-up will make her mixed up.
Robbie also revealed that she has seen her co-star without make-up. Seeing the person as a stranger, she got horrified too frightened to move. The actress added that she became more relaxed when she saw Leto on his The Joker look. Moreover, Robbie said that she was enthralled by Leto's portrayal as the Clown Prince and she found it unflappable.
According to Cinema Blend, Robbie's reaction to Leto's make-up is unusual. For most people, it is a terror to see a person who has green hair, pallor face, ruby-colored lips, face tattoos, and jewel teeth walking down the street. This implies that prolong exposure to such person eventually enables one to cope up.
Aside from Robbie and Leto, "Suicide Squad" also stars Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Cara Delevingne, Adam Beach, Karen Fukuhara, Joel Kinnaman, Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Viola Davis, Scott Eastwood, Ike Barenholtz, and Common, among others.
Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is slated to premiere in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016. Watch the official "Suicide Squad" trailer here:
