Swansea City AFC and Manchester United FC are two of the top teams in the 2015-2016 Premier League and this matchup is important for both squad's championship contentions this season. Swansea will host the Red Devils at the Liberty Stadium in a highly-anticipated match.
The Swans are currently undefeated with two draws and a win. Their first draw was against defending champions Chelsea, 2-2, during the opening weekend, while the second one was last a 1-1 standoff versus Sunderland last Saturday.
Manager Garry Monk's only win so far is the 2-0 decision over Newcastle United in the second week of competitions.
The Red Devils are also undefeated this season, but they have never really impressed with their new lineup so far. It was clear that Louis van Gaal's boys are still in the process of building chemistry and only their sheer talent was enabling them to escape with close wins against their opponents.
Against Swansea, it may be a different story altogether.
Man United has won their first two games against Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa, both with scores of 1-0, during the first two weeks of the season before settling for a goalless draw against Newcastle United last Saturday.
Perhaps the best advantage of Swansea over Man United is that the former have won the last two meetings between these clubs. However, the Red Devils are not the same team that the Swans have defeated back then because of the former's five new signings this summer.
