Although there has been no official confirmation yet regarding the Nexus 6, sources claimed that Chinese tech company Huawei is indeed developing the said smartphone and will pack a Snapdragon 820 processor.

The inclusion of the state-of-the-art Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 is definitely good news for the latest Nexus 6 as it is expected to provide 35 percent faster performance and 30 percent better power efficiency than its predecessor, Snapdragon 810, according to 3D Print. Qualcomm's latest chip will be paired with Adreno 530 GPU, which will provide better graphics performance for the upcoming Nexus model.

However, other rumors suggest that Huawei will just opt for the Snapdragon 810 chip, another respectable microprocessor due to its high-end features. On the other hand, there is a possibility that Huawei will decide to install its own Hi-Silicon Kirin chip in the new Nexus.

Regarding screen display, Nexus 6 will reportedly feature a 5.7-inch display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440, which means that the smartphone will have a pixel density of 515 ppi.

According to Tech Radar, it is also expected that Huawei will be bringing several improvements on Nexus' camera features because the said brand is looking to catch up with the likes of LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphones in terms of shooting capabilities.

Furthermore, the rumored uncanny bump at the back of Nexus 6 might mean that it will include "optical image stabilization." This improvement was expected because Huawei showed in their P8 models that they have the ability to produce respectable camera features.

The new Nexus 6 will reportedly run with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The new software will support fingerprint scanners and USB Type-C support.

LG is also developing another version of Nexus smartphone for Google named LG Bullhead. This device will be known as Nexus 5 2015. Both Nexus devices will be released in October.
