The women of "Game of Thrones" have been very interesting. Most are extraordinarily beautiful while some are exceptionally cruel. In "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, Missandei was a bit different, and Shae, Cersei Lannister, and Catelyn Stark were all crueler.
1. Missandei is 11 years old.
In the series, viewers had witnessed heartfelt romantic scenes between Unsullied soldier Grey Worm and Daenerys' right-hand woman Missandei. Also, Missandei was portrayed by a beautiful, full-grown woman.
In the books, Grey Worm and Missandei works together but nothing romantic happens between them because Missandei is 11 years old, Fansided reported.
2. Shae was never in love with Tyrion Lannister.
In the series, viewers got hooked in the secret love affair of Tyrion and Shae. The two were very concerned for each other during the war. The prostitute refuses to leave the dwarf for diamonds.
Shae ended up betraying Tyrion out of jealousy towards Sansa Stark. Tyrion ended up killing Shae because he caught her sleeping with his father. Nonetheless, they had been very in-love. The grim ending of their love story brought out tears from the viewers.
In the pages, Shae was never in love. Just like a typical prostitute, Shae showed sweetness towards Tyrion. Tyrion is infatuated with Shae. He sets her up with a mansion in King's Landing and thinks about her constantly. He chastises himself for falling in love with a woman who is probably with him for money, book reviewers said on Good Reads.
3. Cersei Lannister was crueler.
Cersei is never a good character in the TV series. She plots her husband's death and makes love with her brother.
Cersei is even worst in the books. She was the one who ordered the death of Robert Baratheon's bastards. Some of Cersei's cruel actions in the books were done by Joffrey Lannister in the show.
4. Catelyn was meaner towards Jon Snow.
In the show, when Jon Snow came to visit Bran Stark, Catelyn tells him to get out. In the novel, she wishes that Snow was the one who fell from the tower.
