"Dying Light" standalone expansion "The Following" released on PS4 a 20-minute gameplay demo. The demo revealed partly how colossal the up and coming DLC is. Recent updates on 'Dying Light' DLC release date and features were also given.
"The Following" was recently unveiled as new DLC for the open-world first person video game "Dying Light." During the announcement, the company explained, "For Dying Light: The Following we're adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion. Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. We also kept a close eye on player feedback to help tailor what we've created here. Hopefully people will see that this new expansion is first and foremost, for the fans," Polygon quoted.
"Dying Light: The Following" DLC will come with a lot of waterfalls, caves, open fields and farms. This only means that it is going to give players a different experience than when it used to feature a lot of buildings, Design & Trend reported.
"Dying Light: The Following's" defense will provide players the dune buggie, also different from the method used in the "Dying Light," which was mostly parkour. Besides the new scenery, plus a new ride, the DLC will also incorporate a crossbow weapon. Fans of the game also noted that there will be an Uzi gun.
"Dying Light" producer, Symon Smektala stated during Gamescom that they were pleased, albeit surprised about the tremendous success of the gameplay.
"Dying Light: The Following" DLC will be available next month. It is free for players with existing season pass, otherwise the DLC can be downloaded separately for only $14.99.
