The uniform worn by basketball superstar Michael Jordan as the leader of the Tune Squad in Joe Pytka's "Space Jam" will be up for auction.

Online auctioneer Invaluable will be in charge for putting Jordan's Tunes Squad basketball uniform up for auction, as per Sporting News. The uniform includes an XL AIS brand red, white, and blue jersey with "Tune Squad" logo on the front while Jordan's iconic basketball jersey number 23 is inscribed at the back, along with a size 38 pair of shorts.

The said basketball uniform was worn by the basketball star in the culminating showdown between Jordan's "Tune Squad" and the "Monstars." At present, it has some signs of wear plus slight stains. Bidding will start at $10,000 and it will take a grave fan to purchase Jordan's uniform.

According to Cinema Blend, Pytka's "Space Jam" left a mark in fan's hearts due to its humor, in addition to the unique blend of the iconic "Looney Tunes" characters like Bugs Bunny, and the human cast, which included "East Enders" actor Billy Murray and "Jurassic Park" actor Wayne Knight. Also, "Space Jam" became a memorable film for children, as it is one of the films that they could easily relate with.

"Space Jam 2" stands as a sequel to Pytka's "Space Jam." There has been no director attached yet and it has not been confirmed yet if Jordan will return to the sequel.

Willie Ebersol is on board to pen the screenplay. While it is his first time to pen a script for a film, he has already demonstrated his abilities as a producer and a director. He produced Adam Ciralsky and Charlie Ebersol's television news series "The Wanted" and he directed of the documentaries "Ithuteng (Never Stop Learning)" and "Don't Look Down."

Since the film is still in its early phase of development, exact details on the plot, characters and cast, and release date are yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Jordan's Tune Squad basketball uniform goes up for auction on Oct. 1.
