"Final Fantasy XV" finally gets a release date from Square Enix and it will be announced in March 2016.
"Final Fantasy XV" developer Square Enix had just recently announced over PAX Prime 2015 that they will announce the release date of the much awaited franchise by March 2016. The news was made during the Active Time Report with "Final Fantasy" director, Hajime Tabata, confirming that the game will be released globally in 2016 at a special event in March, IGN reported.
After PAX Prime 2015 in Seattle, Washington, "Final Fantasy XV" fans will get an update again at the Tokyo Game Show, which will be held on Sept. 17-20 in Chiba, Japan. Square Enix's Active Time Report will include additional information on the characters Luna and Regis, the father of Noctris, iDigital Times reported.
Noctris is the main character for the game. No other information was released by the panel.
"Final Fantasy XV" was originally announced during E3 2006. It was called "Final Fantasy Versus 13" back then and development has been going on for quite a time now and it also seems that the developer needs all the time they can get their hands.
"Final Fantasy XV" speculations surrounding the release date is expected to be around September to November 2016.
"Final Fantasy XV" is an upcoming action role-playing video game being developed by Square Enix's First Production Department and around 200 to 300 people are working on this game. It will be for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is the 15th installment in the "Final Fantasy" series.
