It appears that the Surface Pro 4 could compete with the forthcoming Apple laptop. Furthermore, various reports suggest that the Surface Pro 4 and MacBook Air 2016 will release in October.

According to Tech Times, the tech giant Microsoft will launch two versions of the Surface Pro 4, with one having a 14-inch display and the other having a 12- inch display. On the other hand, MacBook Air 2016 will not come in two versions.
Reports suggest that the Surface Pro 4 will have two types of RAMs. The lower-end model is expected to have 4 GB of RAM and the higher-end model is expected to have 8 GB of RAM. Also, the cheaper model is expected to have 128 GB storage and the higher-end model is expected to have 256 GB or 512 GB storage.
According to reports, lower as well as higher-end versions will run on Windows 10 operating system.
The 2016 MacBook Air 2016 is rumored to have the Skylake processors. The 2.4GHz i5-6300U and the 2.3GHz i5-6200U chips will be used in the lower-end models. On the other hand, the 2.6GHz i7-6600U and the 2.5GHz i7-6500U chips will be used in the higher-end models.
The tech company Microsoft may include a new Surface Pen with the Surface Pro 4, International Business Times reported. Several reports suggest that the MacBook Air 2016 will come with a Touch ID feature and the Force Touch technology.
