Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date is reportedly happening in October and there is a good chance that it will butt heads with Apple's rumored iPad Pro.
According to latest reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date is on Oct. 4. The follow in Microsoft's tablet line was supposedly to take center stage on July 29 alongside Windows 10. However, due to high expectations and technical problems, the said launch was postponed.
On the other hand, JPMorgan analyst told its clients that the tech giant will most likely keep its patterned release in October to launch the new generations of iPad Air and iPad Mini alongside the new "laplet" iPad Pro, according to Apple Insider
Recent rumors stated that Apple will put a spotlight on the new iPad Pro in October. The Cupertino-based company is expected to produce one million units of the iPad Pro each month for the rest of 2015. Similar to other Apple products, the supply of the new iPads may be constrained at launch. Thus, consumers who want to get their hands on the new tablets should place their pre-orders early.
Some of the rumored features of Microsoft Surface Pro 4 are 12-inch screen with 4K pixel resolution, stylus, and USB Type-C port. Other rumored features are keyboard accessory, Type Cover 3 and Docking Station. Other purported features of the tablet are 16GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
According to reports, Microsoft Surface Pro 4 price is expected to be lower than Surface Pro 3 despite all of the upgraded and expensive features of the laptop-tablet hybrid. This assumption was based on the hefty discounts on Surface Pro 3 all year round.
Meanwhile, iPad Pro is rumored to pack a 12.9 to 14 inches screen panel with 2,732 x 2,048 pixel resolution and the familiar 4:3 aspect ratio and 264 pixel density, A9 processor, Type-C USB port, a special stylus, NFC, and Force Touch technology.
