United States Marine Jarrod Haschert, 22, caught the attention of the online community when he posted a video of himself inviting Paul Walker's "Furious 7" co-star Ronda Rousey to be his date to the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11 and the UFC star recently responded.
In an interview with TMZ while she was with three friends in Los Angeles, Rousey said she originally could not make it because of her fight scheduled in January 2016. However, it was eventually moved to November 2016 so she can actually attend the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11.
Rousey said she was impressed with Haschert and she thinks the U.S. Marine is cute. The UFC star said she may agree to be his date to the Marine Corps Ball but she warned him that she is not a "first date girl" and he should also look for her three friends' dates.
After his video inviting Rousey to be her date to the Marine Corps Ball, Haschert told WBTV that the "Furious 7" actress is by far the coolest chick she has ever seen. He said she has been watching her fights since she was in high school and "every fight is more exciting than the last."
"As I said in the video, she is absolutely my celebrity crush," Haschert said of his viral video and Rousey. "And I just kept thinking, 'it's worth a try.'"
Aside from being a UFC star, Rousey also appeared in films "American Judoka" and "The Expendables." While it is yet to be confirmed if she will reprise her role as Kara in "Furious 8," the UFC star is set to star in Peter Berg's "Mile 22" with Mark Wahlberg and Iko Uwais.
