An alumni of "Bachelorette," Ashley Iaconetti, is willing to lose her virginity to Jared Haibon, a contestant in the current season of "Bachelor in Paradise." But she has a potential rival for Jared in Jaclyn Swartz, a new arrival.
However, The New York Post reports that Ashley is not about to give up, saying, "I'm not going to let her take Jared away from me. I'm winning him over. Tonight is literally do or die."
She believes there is little time left and wants a date with Jared, minus the cameras, which would lead to the Fantasy Suite. Jared accepted Ashley's offer of a date over Jaclyn's proposal, and he agreed to a sleepover.
The thought of having sex for the first time made Ashley, from New Jersey, giddy, happy, nervous and excited. She declares, "This is one of the biggest nights of my life."
In preparing for her big night, Ashley is seen putting on red gloss on her lips, while Jared finishes his cocktail. She admits the Fantasy Suite often goes with thoughts of sex, and her physical attraction to him gives Ashley enough reason to be willing to do anything.
The last scene, which is the cliffhanger for next week's episode, shows the couple entering the Fantasy Suite hand in hand. Ashley says she does not know what would happen inside the suite, but is aware of the possibility that the next day she could no longer claim to be a virgin.
However, the The Star questions Ashley's wisdom in likely surrendering her virginity to Jared whom she has known only for a few weeks on a dating show. "We're talking about a guy who can't even commit to facial hair," notes the Canadian daily.
