It seems like the game developer NetherRealm is all set to bring the fan favorite Pit stage to the “Mortal Kombat X,” as a part of the big announcement for this week.
Creative director Ed Boon, teased his fans about the big news, with an image of moon, with the word “Encore,” hinting at the possible release of an ‘Encore’ DLC stage pack, GameRant reported.
It is the cropped image of the Pit stage, located on villain Shang Tsung’s island, from “Mortal Kombat 9.” Every single “Mortal Kombat” game has had the Pit stage, allowing players to knock opponents off the bridge.
This has led to speculations that the Encore stage pack will be bundled with long-rumored Kombat Pack 2. However, there has been no official word about next DLC.
As for the upcoming DLC, Boon has been teasing the fans with images of moon, which also suggests there could alternate versions for more fighters along with a new character, possibly Smoke.
Though there have been a number of rumors suggesting the possible characters in the Kombat Pack 2, the most common suggestions are Baraka, Rain, and Sindel, the characters with their own moves, but it is not playable in the game.
Meanwhile, with the “Mortal Kombat X” patch update, Tanya has reportedly become even more powerful in her Pyromancer variation, after getting some nerf time. Due to a glitch, opponents take a full 32 percent damage when shrouded, which is nearly a 260 percent increase in the damage, Event Hubs reported.
NetherRealm is expected be already working on a hotfix for the glitch. However, it may take a bit time before the developer rolls out a fix.
