Selena Gomez is back as Dracula's daughter Mavis in her new animated movie, "Hotel Transylvania 2." This is the second time that the songstress lent her voice for this movie.
Gomez was seen in the role of a difficult teenager in the first part of the movie, "Hotel Transylvania" but in the upcoming sequel, she plays Dracula's girl named Mavis, who gets married to a human named Jonathan (Andy Samberg).
Mavis and Jonathan have a baby named Dennis, who is half human and half Dracula. However, Mavis's father (Adam Sandler) is worried that his half-human grandson Dennis will not make a good vampire when he grows up, E! News has learned.
In August, the "Heart Wants What It Wants" singer was in the news for wearing a very revealing outfit at the movie's premiere in Cancun. The singer and actress looked stunning in a two-piece red dress that had a very high thigh slit, according to Seventeen magazine.
At the time, Gomez was joined by Sandler and Kevin James, who were very casually dressed. While she was formally dressed up, her co-stars wore sweatpants, shorts and sneakers at the gala event for "Hotel Transylvania 2," which is scheduled for a Sept. 25 release date.
It appears that the Texas-born singer is focusing on her career not only as a singer but also as a movie star. While gearing up for the release of her new album "Revival," she was recently in Georgia to shoot for James Franco's film "In Dubious Battle," which also stars Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, Josh Hutcherson, Zach Braff and Ashley Greene.
Also, Gomez is starring in another movie titled "The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving," which is directed by Rob Burnett and stars Paul Rudd and Craig Roberts.
