It seems that supermodel Gisele Bündchen's marriage to NFL pro Tom Brady is on the rocks. Reports are circulating that the couple's high-profile six-year-marriage is on the verge of breakdown due to their intense fights owing to Deflategate accustaions on Brady.
A source close to the couple has spilled the beans that since the Patriots quarterback has been hit with a four-game suspension in May, he has become "nasty and irritable." It was reported earlier that Brady has been accused of being aware of the team's decision to deflate footballs to win a playoff in January.
The fights have reportedly become so frequent that the supermodel has recently consulted with a divorce lawyer.
"Tom thinks it's only a threat," an insider told Us Weekly. "But this is definitely a rough patch."
It was also reported that while NFL star is singularly focused on his career, the 35-year-old supermodel, who has recently retired from runway earlier this year, feels left out.
Meanwhile, all hopes are not lost as the couple is still living together in their Boston apartment and often spend time together, E! News reported. Although the world's highest paid model ever has been absent from some of the Brady's court hearings and the Patriots' Aug. 14 preseason game, she reportedly accompanied him to New York for an Aug. 31 Deflategate hearing.
The couple, who had earned combined $78million last year, started dating in 2006 and later got married in 2009. They have two children, Benjamin, 5, and Vivian, 2, as well as shared custody of Brady's other son, 8-year-old John.
