Marcus Persson, a billionaire popular among gamers, recently made news after he posted a series of tweets, telling the world the not so good side of being rich.
Persson, the programmer who created the world-renowned blocks-building game Minecraft, tweeted that human interactions can be imbalanced when someone can get anything he wants, or in short very rich, Sky News reported.
In addition, the 36-year-old billionaire complained that he always need to wait until every one of his friends have finished their own work. While waiting, he said he sat around "watching my reflection in the monitor".
Some reports commented that Persson may be feeling depressed after selling his company, Minecraft a year ago. Since its launch in 2009, the game has been downloaded more than 100 million times on PCs alone, not including consoles yet.
However, Persson took to Twitter on Monday and clarified some things.
"fwiw, while there are articles about my depression because I had a bad day and vented on a trend I saw, I'm sitting here having a nice day," the programmer said in his post.
Last year, Persson sold his company named Mojang to Microsoft for $2.5 billion, making him an instant billionaire.
Persson got so rich that he actually outbid Beyonce and Jay-Z in a Beverly Hills mansion that is worth $70 million.
Aside from programming, Persson is also involved in electronic music, and he is a member of Sweden's Mensa.
