New game details and characters for Capcom's upcoming Street Fighter sequel, "Street Fighter 5" have been revealed as a list of possible fighter are added in the roster.
Capcom has announced that three new characters are going to join the growing roster of "Street Fighter 5" for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms. Capcom brand director Matt Dahlgreen told GameSpot that these three new fighters are completely new to the Street Fighter series and there will be at least 16 playable characters within "Street Fighter 5's" roster when the game is out on the market next year.
Dahlgreen added that "Street Fighter 5's" roster is one of the most intense discussions that Capcom has planned since the game's announcement. Unlike the previous titles, the characters have their own "unique flavor" for gaming fans to enjoy.
Capcom has already announced 10 playable characters for "Street Fighter 5" from recurring characters like Ryu, Ken Masters, Chun Li, M.Bison and Vega to returning "Alpha" series fighters Charlie Nash, R. Mika and Birdie. The game also introduces a new character making his debut in the franchise, Necalli.
Capcom will start announcing each of these three new characters in the following months before its scheduled release on March 2016 as several speculations claimed that these "new faces" could be from previous spin-off or prequel titles, EventHubs reported.
Several characters are rumored to join "Street Fighter 5" such as Alex, Urien, Karen Kanzaki, Zangief, Guile, Poison, Hugo, C. Viper, Dudley, Blanka and Abel. Two new fighters are also been hinted in the game, Sherry and Kuan and that Akuma will be a Day 1 DLC.
Gamers can now pre-order "Street Fighter 5" along with bonus items like a full painted statue of Ryu, a 48 page hardcover art book, DLC cards, sound track sampler and a one month subscription to Capcoms Fighter channel on Twitch.
There are also bonus alternate costumes for Ryu, Chun Li, Cammy and M. Bison on several retailer websites such as Gamestop, Best Buy, Amazon and the PlayStation store/PC Digital.
Capcom will launch"Street Fighter 5" in March 2016 for the PS4 and for the PC.
